Here are some of my favorite resources! I’ve included discount codes, links to websites, downloadable PDFs, books and other blogs that I love….I hope you find them helpful!
Moink (Discount Link)
Soon after I started eating cleaner, I became concerned about the quality of the meat I was eating. After doing some research, I realized that the meat at my local grocery store wasn’t going to cut it. I want to be sure that the meat I was purchasing and consuming was free of hormones and unnecessary additives/preservatives. I also wanted to know that the animals being sourced were treated as humanly as possible. That’s when I came across Moink. Their motto is ‘Ethical Meat. Exceptional Taste.’ and they provide scheduled delivery of customized orders of meat which is humanly raised and ethically sourced. If you aren’t familiar with them I suggests you check out their site to learn more about their products and the delivery service. If you are interested in trying Moink…the following Moink Discount Link will get you $20.00 off of your 1st order. To be fully transparent, if you do make a purchase I receive a $20.00 discount off of my next order. It’s like Moink is giving us each a little gift!!
Instant Cart (Discount Code)
If you haven’t heard about Instant Cart, it’s am amazing grocery delivery service in which a personal shopper is assigned to pick-up and deliver your groceries! Books
- It Starts with Food
- Dallas and Melissa Hartwig’s foundation book on how to reset your eating habits starting with The Whole30 Program.
- The Whole30
- The Whole30 book “prepares participants for the program in five easy steps, previews a typical thirty days, teaches the basic meal preparation and cooking skills needed to succeed, and provides a month’s worth of recipes designed to build confidence in the kitchen and inspire the taste buds”. In my personal opinion, reading this is a MUST before you actually try the Program. Sure, you can learn a lot on-line, but the book really walks you through the ‘whys’ of the Program and motivates you to get the most out of your 30 days! It also includes some amazing recipes that even a novice cook can make!
- The Whole30 Day By Day
- This books is a recent addition to the Whole30 book family, and it’s amazing! Its a “daily handbook to keep you motivated, insprired and engaged during your Whole30 journey”. I personally found it VERY helpful in keeping me on track, and I loved it’s assurances along the way that let me know that I wasn’t alone in my feelings/concerns as to got closer to Day 30!
- Practical Paleo
- This book is ‘practically’ the paleo bible. It’s a massive book, but it contains everything you could every want to know about eating Paleo, meal plans and recipes.
