Are you Team Canned Cranberry Sauce or Team Homemade Cranberry Sauce? We always had the canned version on the table at the holidays, but I was never a fan. So this season I decided to make homemade cranberry sauce with the help of my trusty Instant Pot! Of course, making the sauce slightly sweet without added sweeteners was not easy! And there were a few failures along the way to be sure. But with the help of my professional taste testers (i.e. my family) I arrived at this version of Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce that is not too tart, not too sweet, and doesn’t include any added sweeteners…so it’s Whole30 compliant!
It’s as simple as tossing a bag of fresh cranberries…
…the zest and juice of one navel orange, one large chopped Gala apple into the Instant Pot.
Cook on ‘Manual’, ‘High Pressure’ for two minutes. Use the quick release and then you are done! Fresh Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce!
- 1 12 Oz bag of fresh cranberries
- 1 large Gala apple, peeled and diced
- Zest of one navel orange
- Juice of one navel orange
- Add all of the ingredients into the Instant Pot.
- Cook on 'Manual', high pressure, for 2 minutes.
- Use quick release to stop the cooking process.
- Enjoy!
