- 1 cup raw, organic almonds
- 1 whole Tahitian vanilla bean pod
- Filtered water
- Soak the almonds in 2 cups water in the refrigerator overnight.
- Spill out the soaking water and rinse the almonds.
- Put the almonds, the vanilla bean pod and 2 cups of fresh water into the blender on high for 2 minutes (it should be milky and opaque).
- Strain the almond mixture using cheesecloth, a clean linen towel or a nut milk bag.
- Refrigerate for up to five days.
- Shake before use.
